Sorry for the lack of updates folks but I have been busy in recent months. Since the start of the term I have been asked to join a group here who are doing research in to privacy issues. In particular we are researching the relationship among technology, perceived privacy risks, and policy in the health care sector.
I can not get much more into the details of the project – since it is ongoing research – but I am learning a fair bit about privacy technologies, privacy policy development, and current policy. I am finding this line of work very interesting and something I hope to expand with over the coming years.
