From time to time friends, family or co-workers have asked me what would I like for a present. Usually it will coincide with Christmas, my birthday, or some other special event, but it always comes with the general expression that they have no idea what to get me. This is not all that uncommon, many times I am also stuck wondering what to get friends, family members or a loved one. If you are like me, you want to get something that a person needs, wants or would like.
So to help answer the questions and to help organize things a bit, I thought it would be a reasonable idea to post a “wish list” of things I have at one time or another wanted, needed or desired. This is by no means a request for these particular items, or a request for gifts in general. It is purely provided as an information resource for those who are curious about the kinds of things I like or are interested in. Again, this is just a general idea.. not an exhaustive list of things.
- Books
- I keep a book list over on Chapters website. Just click on the “wish list” link on their website, use the email address (mercerch AT hotmail DOT com) and click view this list.
- A scrapbook. I have a box full of old cards, letters and articles from over the years that could be organized nicely in one.
- A photoalbum.
- The Chronicles of Narnia.
- A home made cookbook.
- Kitchen Stuff
- A new cooking set (Pot’s & pan’s). I have been eye balling that nice Jamie Oliver one from Tefal and the Perdno sets.
- Dinner set, 4 people at least
- A set of baking pans and trays
- Baking pans.
- Crock Pot.
- Microwave.
- Canister set.
- Bathroom/Bath Stuff
- A bath towel set
- Paul Mitchel Tea Tree shampoo/conditioner

- Dresser (Actually I am looking to restore an old one, so I am looking for a solid wood one to refinish)

Ok, what wish list is complete with out some really outlandish stuff. At least stuff I can not afford, for now.
