So as most people know I am a news junkie. In fact I would love to work in the news industry some day, possibly as an on air personality maybe for this show!
Last night I was lucky enough to attend a live recording of “The Hour”. A show on CBC Newsworld that is hosted by none other than former Much Music VJ – A title I fear he will never escape – George Stroumboulopoulos. This is one of my favorite shows because George presents the news of the day in a fresh new way. No one said the news had to be presented by stiffs in suits from behind the almighty desk, so he takes a different spin on it. I really enjoyed seeing the show live, seeing how it is put together behind the scenes and just seeing how George does his thing.
Obviously you cannot attend such a show with out getting at least an autograph and a picture with the man, so like many other star stuck fans I waited for my turn. See the gallery here.
It was a lot of fun and I had some great company with my graphic designer friend Melissa Hogan.
